FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers for insurance brokers and agents: policy management, issuance and renewal, claims files, client CRM, commission reports and team work.
Policy management and issuance
What does the policy management module include?
The module centralises all portfolio policies: insured details, policy type, sum insured, premium, expiry and renewal dates, plus the insurer and the agent linked to each policy. You can filter and search the portfolio, and the renewals list shows policies that expire soon.
How do I issue a new policy from the platform?
You select the insured (or add a new one), fill in the policy details, choose the insurer and product, enter the premium and commission fields, then save. The policy is added to the portfolio automatically.
Can I add my existing policies to the portfolio?
Yes. Existing policies are entered with the same fields as a new one, so the portfolio reflects the valid contracts with their dates and premiums.
How do I track renewals?
Each policy shows its expiry and renewal dates, and the renewals list groups them for the period you choose. Review the portfolio ahead of those dates and contact the client through your usual channels to prepare the renewal.
Client CRM and claims files
How does the CRM work for brokers?
The CRM centralises all clients (individuals and companies): contact details, linked policies and broker notes. Open any client to see their contracts in one place.
Can I keep claims files in the platform?
Yes. Each claims file records the details of the event, the related documents, and the policy and client it belongs to, so the file stays with the contract it relates to.
Can several brokers or agents work in the same account?
Yes. Each policy has an agent field, and commission reports can be grouped by agent.
Commission reports
What commission reports can I generate?
The platform produces aggregate commission reports for the period you choose, grouped by insurer and by agent, so you can see the total commission for each relationship.
Does the platform issue invoices for commissions?
No. The platform records commissions and produces reports about them. You issue commission invoices in the accounting or invoicing software you use.
How much does the basic plan cost?
The price depends on the plan you choose. The full plan grid is on the pricing page.
Team, security and getting started
Who can use the platform?
Insurance brokers and agents, brokerage firms and insurance agencies, together with their teams. Several agents can work in the same account.
How is access to the account protected?
Access is through each user's own account. If you have specific security or compliance requirements, discuss them with the team before you start.
How do I start working with the platform?
Open an account, add your insurers and agents, then enter clients and policies. You can start with a few policies and add the rest of the portfolio gradually.
How does an insurer appear in the platform?
Each insurer is a record in the platform, and each policy is linked to the insurer that issued it, so the portfolio can be viewed by insurer.
